This site collects the bare minimum needed to understand whether anyone is reading it and whether the site is fast.

What's collected

• Vercel Web Analytics — pageviews, referrers, country. Cookieless. Aggregated. ~30-day retention.
• Vercel Speed Insights — anonymous Core Web Vitals (LCP, INP, CLS) from real visits. Cookieless.
• Google Analytics 4 — pageviews, referrers, country, anonymized IP. Loaded off the main thread via Partytown. ~14-month retention. No ad-personalization signals sent.
• webmention.io — replies are fetched at build time from the build server, not from your browser, so visiting a post does not contact webmention.io. (When a reply has an author avatar, your browser fetches it from Gravatar or GitHub avatars when the post loads.)

What's NOT collected

• Cookies — none set by this site.
• Personal data — no email/contact form on this site.
• Cross-site tracking, ad networks, fingerprinting.

Opt-out signals

If your browser sends Global Privacy Control (Sec-GPC) or the legacy Do Not Track header, this site skips the Vercel Analytics + Speed Insights load entirely. No flag, no UI — just respected.
